To submit a reservation for your unit or council to attend, please select the 2014 Unit Reservation Request.
To submit a reservation for an individual to attend one our provisional High Adventure Programs, please select the 2014 Individual Reservation Request.
Once your reservation is received and processed (within 48 hours), you will receive an email with a date confirmation and other details.

To check on the availability of a specific program like the Summit Experience or the River e-mail Summit.Program@Scouting.org with the program you are interested and we can tell you which weeks have openings for the program you are interested in.
The Summit Bechtel Reserve (SBR) High Adventure program is open to registered Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts and Venturers who are 13 years old or older by September 1 of the year of participation. All participants must meet the BSA Height/Weight guidelines as found on the current BSA Annual Health and Medical Record.
Canopy Tours and Ziplines: For safety reasons, all participants in this program must be between 50 and 250 lbs. No one over 250 lbs. will be permitted on challenge courses, canopy tours or zip lines, independent of the height/weight chart.
River Programs: All participants must pass the BSA swim test with a swimmer classification.
Please note: weight restrictions for challenge courses, canopy tours and zip lines apply to all participants desiring to participate in these areas of Summit Center or ride the Big Zip.
Programs begin June 8, 2014. The final arrival date for crews is August 16, 2014. Crew programs are 7 days/6 nights. Each crew will check-in and stay the first night at Paul R. Christen National High Adventure Base at the Summit.
All crews must adhere to the adult leadership requirements as stated in the current edition of the Guide to Safe Scouting. This includes a minimum of two adult leaders per crew who meet age, registration and gender requirements
for either Boy Scout/Varsity units or Venturing Crews. Co-ed crews must meet Venturing leadership standards. Additionally, all crews must comprise a majority of youth members.
A $100 per person deposit is due May 31, 2013 to confirm your reservation. Half of the balance is due October 31, 2013. The final payment is due April 30, 2014. When making a reservation after May 31, you will receive an invoice detailing a payment schedule for your deposit and fees to get “caught up.”
How Do I Make A Reservation?
1. Identify your selected program. Use the registration form for the chosen program – either SUMMIT EXPERIENCE or the SPECIALIZED PROGRAM (RIVER, HELMETS, MARKSMAN, WHEELS) reservation form.
2. Have your Scout Executive sign the reservation form. This confirms that you have a properly registered Scouting unit.
3. Mail, fax or email your form to the Summit. The contact info can be found on the form.
